We would like to start by saying a huge thank you to Wales Comic Con for organising such an incredible event. Not taking in consideration the weather, the day was perfect and everything was very well organised! It was held at Wrexham Glyndwr University, a considerably big campus, the staff was always helpful in pointing us in the right direction.
We arrived a bit before 9am on Saturday 27th of April and went straight to the signing hall, where guests would be signing autographs. Big thanks to those of you who came to chat with us, it was lovely to meet you and we were very happy to distribute our mini-sam-badges.
We had the amazing opportunity to meet Sam and chat with him about his upcoming movies – The Nightingale and Charlie’s Angels. He also mentioned he was excited to start filming “Love, Wedding, Repeat” in Italy, he also shared his excitement about Game of Thrones. Catching up with Sam is always an absolute pleasure, and we hope you guys like the message we recorded for you.
In the afternoon, we headed towards Hall A to start queuing for our Photo-Op with Sam at 2.05pm. We met some lovely people in the queue and everyone was very excited to meet Sam though queuing under the rain was not very ideal.
Alexander Ludwig (Hunger Games, Vikings) also came to Sam’s table to greet him and noticed the pair spent some time together during the weekend. A Happy Hunger Games reunion (though they were in different movies). Make sure to check out the Hunger Games Q&A with Sam and Alexander, courtesy of Emily from our SCF Team who attended the event on Sunday!

After their Hunger Games Q&A with the host Andrew (x)
Nathan made an amazing coffee painting portrait of Sam – watch the video with Sam’s reaction here.
Overall, we would definitely do it all over again! We look forward to the next event with Sam and will make sure to be there to support him, as we have been doing for the past 7 years. We hope you guys love the message he left for you! Again, thanks for supporting him.
