It’s June 27th, which can only mean one thing…it’s our fave guy’s 29th birthday! Happy Birthday Sam!
We asked you to come together to send in your wishes for Sam & you did. And here is the finished video.
We love it & we think Sam will too. Huge thank you to everyone who has taken part in either the video, or the scrapbook (or both!) The scrapbook has been sent & will hopefully get to Sam very soon. We will keep you updated & will be sure to post some photos once Sam has received it (we don’t want to ruin the surprise!)
Many thanks to both Sam Claflin Brazil & Panem Propaganda for their help in promoting the project and special thanks to @jonnyhadapigeon for editing the video so beautifully!
And once again, a huge thank you to you all for taking part. As Sam would say…you ruddy rockstars!
UPDATE – On December 22nd 2015 Sam finally received our birthday book! And as you can see from his tweets he was very moved. Thank you to all who took part
From the cold fog of Wales, the cobbled paths and lights of Paris to the sunsets and sands of Spain, we’ve followed Sam on his journey to becoming the incomparable Will Traynor for the film adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ beautiful novel Me Before You, set to be released in Summer 2016. The role of the miserable quadriplegic enlightened by the sprightly step and bumblebee tights of his newest carer Lou Clark (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke) has certainly brought a transformation for Sam from his last role as Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games franchise; yet under that distant expression, beard scruff and confines of a wheelchair, we know his talent will shine through and move us to tears once more. With thanks to the Daily Mail we were lucky enough to get to see some incredible BTS shots of Sam & Emilia filming in Spain during June, including our first shots of Sam using Will’s wheelchair!
We all know that Sam is a huge fan of Burberry. So it is no surprise that he was in attendance as they launched their Spring/Summer Menswear Collection at a garden party held in the beautiful sunshine at London’s Kensington Gardens.
Ladies and Gentlemen…welcome to the 76th Hunger Games! We don’t know about you but it has definitely made us very excited for the film’s release in November! What is your favourite moment from the trailer?
Sam took some time out of his busy filming schedule to attend the Glamour Awards in London on June 2nd. As always he looked impeccable in a deep blue suit & lilac shirt. He presented the award for Next Breakthrough to his Love, Rosie co-star Suki Waterhouse and the pair looked lovely as they posed for photos.
